Job summary

ABB, a leader in motion drive solutions, is seeking a remote VFD Support Specialist in the United States. You will provide technical support via phone and email for Low Voltage VFD applications, assist customers and field technicians with commissioning, troubleshooting, and warranty evaluations, and help ensure reliable drive performance.

You will collaborate with engineering, field service, sales and product teams, document solutions in Salesforce, and stay current with VFD technology trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of electrical/technical experience, or an associate's degree with 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone and email for Low Voltage VFDs.
• Assist with drive programming, parameter configuration, and integration with control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, field service, sales, and product teams to resolve issues.
• Coordinate warranty replacements and labor authorization with warranty team.
• Maintain detailed case documentation using Salesforce Case Management and other tools.
• Stay current with VFD technologies, software updates, and industry trends.

Education

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant Electrical, Technical experience OR associate's degree and 4 years
