Job summary

ABB is seeking a Remote US-based VFD Support Specialist to provide technical assistance on low voltage VFD applications. You will assist with drive programming, configuration, and system integration while collaborating with engineering, field service, and sales teams to resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities include documenting cases in Salesforce, supporting warranty processes, and staying up-to-date on VFD technology trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years electrical/technical experience, OR associate's with 4+ years, OR HS diploma with 6+ years experience.
Knowledge of how Variable Frequency Drives work.
Strong English communication, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support via phone and email for low voltage VFD applications.
Assist customers with drive programming, parameter configuration and control system integration.
Collaborate with engineering, field service, sales, and product teams to resolve issues.
Coordinate warranty replacements and labor authorizations with warranty team.
Maintain detailed support case documentation using Salesforce Case Management.
Stay current with VFD technologies, software updates, and industry trends.
