Job summary

ABB is seeking a VFD Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to customers, end users, and partners nationwide from a remote U.S. location. You will troubleshoot, program drives, and assist with wiring and integration across control systems.

In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, field service, sales, and product teams, maintain detailed case documentation in Salesforce, and stay current with VFD technologies to help customers resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of electrical/technical experience, or equivalent.
Knowledge of how Variable Frequency Drives work is required.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support via phone and email for VFD applications.
Assist with drive programming, configuration, and integration with control systems.
Collaborate with engineering, field service, sales, and product teams.
Coordinate warranty replacements and labor authorizations.
Document support cases and solutions using Salesforce Case Management.
Stay current with VFD technologies and industry trends.
