Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to resolve complex, time-sensitive issues, including customer escalations and remote troubleshooting. Role covers ES 1.1x upgrade support and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Requires SQL proficiency and knowledge of BD products in hospital IT environments.

On-site with options for remote work where applicable; strong emphasis on data quality, timely case resolution, and customer education. BD Total Rewards and healthcare benefits provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
Microsoft SQL experience (2+ years).
Must be able to write queries and analyze SQL data (i.e. Select and Join statements).
SSIS (SQL Job) exposure/experience.
SQL Reporting Services.

Responsibilities

Answer inbound calls, callbacks, and escalations on the 1.1x Channel.
Provide timely updates to customers and ensure needs are met.
Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team for effective communication.
Maintain high levels of data quality and integrity (Salesforce).
Demonstrate understanding of BD products and pharmacy workflow.
