Job summary

BD is a global medical technology company seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to resolve complex, time-sensitive issues in a hospital IT environment. You will collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade teams, manage escalations, and ensure regulatory compliance while expanding knowledge of BD products and workflows.

This role emphasizes on-site collaboration with a preferred four days in-office per week, with remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years equivalent experience in computer science/electronics.
• 2+ years Microsoft SQL experience and ability to write queries.
• Experience with SSIS, SQL Reporting Services, Windows Server and IIS.
• Familiarity with mobile/enterprise networks and VMware environments.
• Ability to review logs and diagnose issues across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide CSC support for ES 1.1x upgrades and remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional ES 1.1x upgrade team for timely communication.
• Ensure regulatory requirements are met in remediation activities.
• Maintain knowledge of ES 1.1x and troubleshoot effectively.
• Deliver high-quality customer service via phone and email with accurate case notes.
