Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to assist with ES 1.1x upgrade and remediation, providing CSC support to internal teams and customers. You will troubleshoot complex issues, collaborate with ES upgrade teams, and ensure regulatory and data-quality standards are met.

Role involves hybrid work, onsite collaboration, and strong SQL/Windows skills to support BD products in healthcare environments nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or related field.
• Microsoft SQL experience (2+ years). Must be able to write queries and analyze SQL data (Select/Join) within complex database structures.
• SSIS (SQL Job) exposure/experience; SQL Reporting Services.
• Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration (Win7+); Networking topology and commands; IIS and Web Application Administration.
• Group Policies terminology and administration; VMware terminology and administration.
• Review of application and OS logs; XML language familiarity; ability to identify issue trends.

Responsibilities

• Provide CSC support for ES 1.1x upgrade and remediation efforts.
• Handle inbound calls, callbacks, and escalations for the 1.1x channel with clear documentation in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with cross-functional upgrade teams to ensure timely communication and issue resolution.
• Maintain knowledge of ES 1.1x to troubleshoot effectively and support customers.
• Demonstrate understanding of BD products and how they interact with pharmacy workflows.
• Work in a hybrid on-site/remote setting with flexible hours to support remediation schedules.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience
