Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to assist in resolving complex, time-sensitive issues, including escalations, downtime, and remote troubleshooting. You will support ES 1.1x upgrades and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain service quality.

The role requires strong SQL skills, Windows server knowledge, and experience in hospital IT environments. Remote work from a home office is available with in-office presence as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Microsoft SQL experience (2+ years).
• Must be able to write queries and analyze SQL data (Select/Join).
• SQL Server, SSIS exposure/experience.
• DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team to coordinate support.
• Resolve cases and escalations in an upgrade environment.
• Maintain knowledge of ES 1.1x for troubleshooting and support.
• Document case notes clearly and timely.
• Provide updates and seek customer feedback to ensure needs are met.
