Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Sleep Coach to support CPAP therapy remotely across the United States. You will provide personalized guidance, education, and support to patients during their first year to help them achieve better adherence.

This remote-based role requires strong communication skills, independent work, and the ability to collaborate with a distributed care team while ensuring patient privacy and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with patients diagnosed with OSA preferred.
• Experience with various insurance plans (HMO, PPO, Medicare) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to and respond to patients during their first full year of CPAP therapy.
• Conduct inbound and outbound calls to coach, educate, and encourage patients as they adjust to CPAP therapy.
• Help patients identify barriers to using their therapy consistently and provide practical tools and strategies to overcome them.
• Review patient usage information through manufacturer software and use that information to guide meaningful, data-driven conversations.
• Use knowledge of obstructive sleep apnea to help patients understand their therapy and the potential benefits of consistent use.
