Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Sleep Coach for a remote-based role addressing CPAP patients in their first year of therapy. You will guide patients, answer questions, and help overcome adherence challenges through personalized communication.

You will discuss therapy basics, insurance requirements, device care, and resupply planning, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• Experience with sleep therapy or CPAP patients preferred.
• Experience communicating with patients by phone is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact patients during their first year of CPAP therapy.
• Coach, educate, and encourage patients to use their therapy consistently.
• Identify barriers and provide practical tools to improve adherence.
• Review patient usage data with manufacturer software to tailor conversations.
• Explain therapy concepts, insurance requirements, and resupply needs.
• Document conversations accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance.
