Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Sr Transmission Line Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design high-voltage transmission line facilities (69 kV–765 kV), prepare project docs, and manage technical activities with minimal guidance. The position requires PE licensure, ABET degree, and experience leading engineers.

You will collaborate with in-house and client engineers, coordinate with regulators, and provide training to lower-level staff. Occasional travel to project sites may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (ABET).
• PE licensure is required.
• Masters degree counts toward years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead transmission line design and engineering activities for 69–765 kV projects.
• Prepare construction documents, schedules, and BOMs.
• Coordinate with regulators, clients, and contractors to ensure safety and schedule adherence.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and lead project teams.
• Attend bid and construction meetings and ensure compliance with plans and standards.
• Travel to sites as needed for inspections and design reviews.
