Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer in Phoenix to lead a small team and collaborate with in-house and client engineers on 69 kV–765 kV projects.

The role requires a PE license, ABET-accredited degree, and demonstrated experience in transmission line design, PLS-CADD, and project leadership. This is a permanent, fully remote position with travel to site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Master's degree from ABET program counts toward years of experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead transmission line engineering design and analysis.
• Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Develop design alternatives and associated cost estimates.
• Model transmission line designs using PLS-CADD.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, and contractors.
• Mentor and train engineers; drive project schedules and execution.
