Job summary

ExecuPOWER is hiring a Senior Transmission Line Project Engineer for a remote (U.S.) role focused on leading high-voltage transmission line projects from concept through construction. You will oversee design packages, routing decisions, and client coordination with utility stakeholders, driving engineering excellence in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred).
• 8+ years of transmission line design and project engineering experience.
• Experience leading high-voltage transmission projects (69kV-500kV).
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD and related tools (PLS-POLE/PLS-TOWER).
• Knowledge of NESC, ASCE-7, ANSI, ACI, AISC, and IEEE; familiarity with NERC, FERC, OSHA, AWC-NDS, AWS and IBC.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for transmission line rebuilds or greenfield projects.
• Serve as technical lead for engineering decisions and client coordination.
• Perform PLS-CADD modeling including sag-tension and clearance checks.
• Develop specifications for construction, hardware, and materials procurement.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and construction packages.
• Ensure compliance with standards across project phases.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
• Support project planning, cost estimating, and proposals.
