Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer PE for a fully remote role. You will lead projects for a major utility client, designing transmission lines from 69 kV to 765 kV, performing analyses, and producing construction documents.

Responsibilities include mentoring engineers, coordinating with government bodies, and ensuring safety and schedule compliance while using PLS-CADD and standard industry practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering with ABET accreditation.
• Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• Masters degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering may count toward years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis, route selection, and design for transmission lines.
• Prepare construction documents, drawings, specs, schedules and BOMs.
• Model transmission line designs using PLS-CADD and related tools.
• Lead project teams and mentor junior engineers; coordinate with contractors and regulators.
• Ensure safety, schedule adherence, and compliance with codes and standards.
