A leading energy company is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead capital initiatives that optimize power demand and cost. This remote position requires a visionary leader with over 20 years of experience in electrical engineering and energy systems. Responsibilities include strategic leadership, overseeing engineering teams, and managing large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background and the ability to drive projects from concept to execution, along with excellent stakeholder management skills.
Location: Home Office, FL, US
The Principal Electrical Engineer will create the strategy, change management plan, and lead execution of capital initiatives which accelerate the organization’s drive to optimize multi-site power demand/cost profile.
This role requires a visionary leader with strong technical expertise, financial acumen, Operations & Supply Chain experience, program management skills, and the ability to align cross-functional teams to achieve world class energy profile. Your deep, established relationship with industry, academia, and government experts allow you to leverage best knowledge to shape the short-term and long-term capital investment program.
This role is remote with 25–50% domestic and international travel to support multi‑site initiatives, engage with cross‑functional teams, and oversee project execution.
