The role combines senior leadership, client relations, and project management, with opportunities to apply AI, automation, and digital design tools to modernize grid design while mentoring engineers and growing the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years in high voltage transmission design.
• Expertise in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
• EIT certification.
• Ability to lead teams and communicate with clients.
• Willingness for onsite work with possible travel.

Responsibilities

• Direct multiple design teams on overhead and underground transmission projects.
• Develop and mentor engineering staff and oversee performance reviews.
• Lead client relations, proposals, and scope management.
• Manage schedule, budget, and quality across programs.
• Apply standards (NESC, ASCE, NEC) in designs.
