Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, preferred, or Mechanical Engineering with 12+ years of relevant experience in the design of high voltage electric utility transmission systems.
• Professional Engineering Registration in at least one U.S. state or equivalent.
• Experience with PLS-CADD, POLE, TOWER, SAG10, LPILE and/or FAD, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Work effectively in a team environment; can also work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineering team on HV transmission line design projects, including overhead and underground systems.
• Prepare bidding documents, plans, specifications, and material procurement/construction docs.
• Develop proposals, scopes, and manage project execution; coordinate with planning, environmental, permitting, and construction management.
• Apply AI, automation, and digital design platforms to streamline grid modernization and increase design efficiency.
