Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for the Symitar Client Services Engineering team.

You will troubleshoot and program template-based and custom credit union code, maintain and update existing code, and provide support to credit union clients and internal teams. This remote position requires living within approximately a 70-mile radius of Louisville, KY and other listed locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on programming experience.
• Experience building and supporting HTML/JavaScript solutions.
• Experience providing client-facing support for web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, APIs, and networking).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers by analyzing issues and guiding to resolution.
• Work with customers on highly technical products and systems-level software.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Document defects and assist in building fixes with test environments when needed.
• Stay current with product training and internal documentation.
• Handle Customer Work Requests including installations, upgrades, and training.
• Train team members and new associates as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
