Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for the Symitar Client Services Engineering team. You will troubleshoot code, update existing solutions, and write enhancements for credit union customers.

This remote role requires residing within ~70 miles of specified U.S. offices and involves interacting with clients and internal teams on technical banking software. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of programming experience, HTML/JavaScript skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on programming experience.
• Experience building and supporting HTML/JS solutions.
• Experience providing client-facing technical support for web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers by analyzing reported issues and determining the best path to resolution.
• Work directly with customers and users on highly technical products, including systems-level software.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues effectively.
• Create defect records and prepare test environments to assist development teams.
• Stay current on products through training and self-learning.
• Complete Customer Work Requests, including installations, customizations, upgrades, and training.
• Train current team members and new associates as needed.
