Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for the Symitar Client Services Engineering team.

You will troubleshoot and code both template-based and custom credit union solutions, maintain existing code, and support clients and internal teams in a fast-paced environment. Remote work is available, but candidates must live within ~70 miles of listed office locations; Allen, TX; Cedar Falls, IA; Louisville, KY; Birmingham, AL; Charlotte, NC; Springfield, MO; Monett, MO;

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on programming experience.
• Experience building and supporting HTML and JavaScript solutions.
• Experience providing client-facing technical support for web technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers by analyzing issues and guiding to resolution.
• Work with customers on highly technical products including systems-level software.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues.
• Submit defect records with examples to help engineering fix code.
• Stay current on products through training and documentation.
• Complete Customer Work Requests, including installations, upgrades, and training.
• Train team members and new associates as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
