Job summary

ABB is seeking a Senior Technical Business Developer to lead customer engagement for the 72.5-145 kV Dead Tank Circuit Breakers, blending product management and sales in a remote US role with preference for Cary, NC or Houston, TX. You will influence product evolution, drive US market growth, and ensure SF6-free, digital-ready solutions meet grid needs.

The role reports to the Product Marketing Director and collaborates with Global Portfolio Management of Grid Components, requiring deep HV

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
10+ years experience with high voltage equipment, preferably circuit breakers or substation components.
Deep understanding of US sub-transmission applications and utility processes.
Proven experience in technical sales, product management, or business development.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with vacuum interrupter technology and SF6-free solutions/regulation.
Familiarity with IEEE/ANSI standards for high‑voltage products.
Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
