Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to serve as a high-level technical escalation point for NG911 call-taking and dispatching solutions in a US-based remote role.

You will diagnose and resolve complex system architectures, server infrastructure, and telephony issues that impact public safety operations. You will collaborate with Product Development and Field Services to validate emerging technologies, maintain lab configurations, and optimize system reliability while adhering to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of technical support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 4 technical support and escalation resolution for NG911 solutions.
• Dissect complex system architectures, server infrastructure, and database layers to troubleshoot incidents.
• Interface with Product Development and Technical Services to test, validate, and deploy upgrades.
• Create Site Specific MOPs and comprehensive technical workflow documentation.
• Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to support centers and field technicians.
• Participate in on-call rotation and travel to customer sites as needed.
