Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer to design and deploy radio networks for State and Local government. This remote role requires travel (25-50%) to support projects in the Mid-Atlantic, primarily Pennsylvania.

You will lead technical design, hardware configurations, and system acceptance with a field team of PMs and engineers. The ideal candidate has RF engineering and LMR experience, knowledge of ASTRO 25, and a track record delivering mission critical digital mobile comms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field.
• Experience with public safety radio systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement radio network infrastructure and backhaul solutions.
• Lead technical aspects of projects until system acceptance.
• Coordinate with field teams and customers for design reviews and testing.
• Prepare system documentation and fleetmaps.
