Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to serve as a high-level escalation point for NG911 call-taking solutions. This US-based remote role involves diagnosing complex system architecture, networking, and telephony issues impacting public safety operations.

You will collaborate with Product Development and Field Services, validating technologies, maintaining lab configs, and ensuring reliability. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication required for written and spoken interactions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in technical support, system engineering, or public safety operations.
• Experience with NG911 Call Taking or Dispatching is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 4 technical support and escalation for NG911 solutions.
• Analyze complex system architectures and network configurations to resolve incidents.
• Manage trouble tickets and communicate with customers and leadership.
• Validate, test, and deploy future technologies with Product Development.
• Create technical documentation and MOPs for operations.
