Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to lead radio network design, deployment, and optimization for government and public safety projects across the US.

You will collaborate with project management, systems engineers, and field teams to deliver complex, mission-critical solutions, perform RF analyses, and support system acceptance through rigorous testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or technical discipline and 5+ years of experience OR 7+ years in related roles.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.
• Experience with radio networks, P25/LMR concepts, and field deployment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of radio networks including infrastructure and backhaul.
• Coordinate with project teams and customers from design reviews to acceptance testing.
• Perform radio coverage testing, RF analysis, and interference mitigation.
• Develop system fleet maps, encryption templates, and documentation.
• Oversee live system cutovers and upgrades in field environments.
