Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer for NG911 call-taking and dispatching. This US-based remote role will diagnose and resolve complex system architecture, networking, and telephony issues that impact public safety operations.

You will collaborate with Product Development and Field Services to validate emerging technologies, maintain lab configurations, and optimize system reliability. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in technical support or system

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication for written and oral delivery.
• OS expertise: Windows Server 2008/2012, Windows 7/10, Linux/UNIX.
• Networking: LAN/WAN, Cisco CCNA concepts, AD integration.
• Telephony: Analog/Digital, VoIP, PBX, SS7, geo-spatial routing.
• Hardware: Dell/HP servers, GIS, databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 4 technical support and escalation for NG911 solutions.
• Dissect complex system architectures and manage incidents.
• Maintain and update technical documentation and MOPs.
