Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior SCADA Design Lead to steer complex SCADA design workstreams for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects. You will deliver high-quality drawings, resolve advanced issues, and uphold SOLV standards to ensure reliability and commissioning readiness.

This fully remote role involves collaborating with OT teams and field personnel to define hardware requirements, validate designs, and drive long-term system integrity across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical or energy engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-house SCADA design for utility-scale renewable energy projects (PV, BESS, Wind).
• Develop designs in AutoCAD, Visio, and related tools to support large-scale SCADA systems.
• Define and improve SCADA design standards and best practices for consistency.
• Review project scope, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable system designs.
• Create, review and approve detailed design documents including diagrams, wiring, and BOMs for SCADA racks and field networks.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical reviews to ensure engineering excellence.
