Job summary

Affim is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to blend technical aptitude with strong communication to help enterprise merchants design scalable, reliable solutions on the Affim platform.

You will lead technical discovery, architect integrations, and partner with Sales, Engineering, and Product to win deals while building scalable pre-sales processes and assets.

This remote-first role requires up to 30% travel, offers competitive benefits, and notes visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in business/technology or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Partner Engineering, Solutions Engineering, technical sales or pre-sales.
• 3+ years in payments/fintech or related industry.
• Strong API, SaaS, and enterprise architecture knowledge with focus on checkout and payment systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments independently with attention to detail.
• Extensive experience with e-commerce, in-store, telesales checkout and payment solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and develop tailored solutions for enterprise merchants.
• Architect end-to-end integrations and complex customizations.
• Build trust with customers and cross-functional teams; drive opportunities with partners and sales.
• Develop pre-sales materials, demos, and scalable engagement models for repeatable success.
