Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior .NET Technical Lead to drive the modernization of legacy applications into scalable, cloud-native services on AWS. You will lead a team of engineers, collaborate with AWS leads, architects, QA, and product owners, and mentor offshore resources.

The role offers a remote work option within the United States, with a focus on delivering secure, reliable deployments and high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software development experience, incl 5+ years with modern .NET and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience designing, building, deploying microservices.
• Strong C#, .NET, SQL Server, and advanced T-SQL development.
• Experience migrating business logic from stored procedures to services.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design, OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0, JWT.
• Experience with EF Core, Dapper, async programming, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on AWS experience with ECS/Fargate, RDS for SQL Server, SQS/SNS/EventBridge.
• Experience automated testing: unit, integration, API/contract.
• Leadership: managing offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of modern .NET services and APIs for cloud-native migration.
• Drive engineering excellence through sprint planning, code reviews, and best practices.
• Refine requirements with stakeholders and define acceptance criteria.
• Mentor offshore development teams and provide progress updates.
• Modernize data architectures by moving logic from SQL Server stored procedures into services.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and secure deployments with compliance.
