Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation seeks a Senior .NET Technical Lead to modernize legacy applications into cloud-native AWS services. You will design, develop, and deliver scalable .NET APIs while guiding offshore teams and ensuring quality through automated testing and strong security practices.

You will collaborate with AWS engineers, architects, QA, product owners, and offshore developers to drive delivery excellence and operational efficiency.

Qualificações

• 12+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years working with modern .NET and ASP.NET Core Web APIs.
• Proven experience designing, building, and deploying microservices or independently deployable distributed applications.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET, SQL Server, and advanced T-SQL development.
• Hands-on experience migrating business logic from stored procedures into application services.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, OpenAPI specifications, OAuth 2.0, and JWT-based security models.
• Experience with EF Core, Dapper, asynchronous programming, and application performance optimization.
• Hands-on AWS experience, including ECS/Fargate, RDS for SQL Server, and messaging/event-driven technologies such as SQS, SNS, or EventBridge.
• Experience implementing automated testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and API/contract testing.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and mentoring development teams, including offshore resources.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of modern .NET services and APIs, supporting migration of legacy apps to cloud-native architecture.
• Drive engineering excellence through sprint planning, code reviews, and coding standards for quality and maintainability.
• Partner with business and product stakeholders to refine requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure successful delivery of features.
• Mentor and guide offshore development teams, remove blockers, and provide regular progress updates to leadership.
• Modernize legacy data architectures by extracting business logic from SQL Server stored procedures into scalable C# services with automated tests.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and production releases, ensuring secure, reliable deployments and compliance with standards.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining code quality and security.
