Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior .NET Technical Lead to modernize legacy business applications into cloud-native services on AWS. You will lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable .NET APIs, migrate logic from stored procedures, and mentor offshore teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years with modern .NET and ASP.NET Core Web APIs.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying microservices.
• Strong C#, .NET, SQL Server, and advanced T-SQL.
• Migrating business logic from stored procedures to services.
• RESTful API design, OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0, and JWT security.
• EF Core, Dapper, async programming, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on AWS experience: ECS/Fargate, RDS for SQL Server, SQS/SNS/EventBridge.
• Automated testing: unit, integration, API/contract.
• Leadership mentoring offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of modern .NET services and APIs for cloud-native migration.
• Drive engineering excellence via sprint planning, code reviews, and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Mentor offshore teams and remove delivery blockers.
