Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior .NET Technical Lead to modernize legacy applications into cloud-native AWS services. You will lead design, development, and delivery of .NET APIs, mentor offshore teams, and ensure quality and security across deployments.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years with modern .NET and ASP.NET Core Web APIs.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying microservices.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET, SQL Server, and advanced T-SQL.
• Migrating business logic from stored procedures to application services.
• RESTful API design, OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0, and JWT-based security models.
• Experience with EF Core, Dapper, asynchronous programming, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on AWS experience including ECS/Fargate, RDS for SQL Server, SQS/SNS/EventBridge.
• Experience implementing automated testing (unit/integration/API).
• Leadership experience mentoring offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of modern .NET services and APIs for cloud migration.
• Drive engineering excellence through sprint planning, code reviews, and coding standards.
• Partner with stakeholders to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Mentor offshore development teams and provide regular progress updates to leadership.
• Modernize legacy data architectures by moving logic from SQL Server stored procedures to C# services with automated tests.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and secure, compliant deployments.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity while ensuring code quality.
