Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior .NET Technical Lead (AWS) to modernize legacy apps into cloud-native services. You will lead design, development, and delivery of .NET APIs, migrate logic from SQL Server stored procedures, and mentor offshore teams.

This remote role supports US-based projects with strong emphasis on security, testing, and deployment practices. You’ll collaborate with AWS leads, architects, QA, and product stakeholders to ensure feature delivery and

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years with modern .NET and ASP.NET Core Web APIs.
• Experience designing, building, deploying microservices.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0 and JWT security.
• Hands-on AWS experience with ECS/Fargate and RDS for SQL Server.
• Experience with EF Core or Dapper and asynchronous programming.
• Experience mentoring offshore teams and leading delivery.
• Proficient in automated testing (unit/integration/API).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of modern .NET services and APIs.
• Drive engineering excellence through planning, reviews, and standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Mentor offshore development teams and remove blockers.
• Modernize data architectures by moving logic from stored procedures to services.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and secure production releases.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools while ensuring code quality and security.
