Cribl, the AI telemetry platform leader, is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to guide a remote-first team of SDETs responsible for quality and reliability across Cribl’s products. You’ll design testing strategy, define quality metrics, and drive test automation, CI stability, and release management from design through rollout.

You will partner with product management and engineering managers, coach engineers, and push for customer‑first quality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in establishing testing strategy and defining quality metrics for SaaS and customer managed environments.
• Deep understanding of SDLC and the changes required for agentic development.
• Strong understanding of test architecture, automation, CI/CD, observability, release management, and root‑cause analysis.
• Experience with AI-developed tests and workflows.
• BS CS/EE or equivalent practical experience with 10+ years of industry experience, including 4+ years in a technical leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate metrics for data-driven prioritization of the team's roadmap.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, root‑cause analysis, and escape‑rate reduction.
• Continuously optimize end-to-end pipelines for both quality and velocity, removing bottlenecks for people and agentic workflows.
• Foster a customer-first mindset by closing the testing gap with deployments.
• Establish strong partnerships with product management and engineering managers to ensure quality standards are implemented from the start.
• Coach, mentor, and grow a remote-first team of exceptional test engineers.
