Cribl is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a remote‑first, cross‑functional team of SDETs ensuring quality is built in from design to release. You will own testing strategy, define quality metrics, and drive data‑driven prioritization across Cribl products.

You will champion test automation, CI/CD, observability, and root‑cause analysis, guiding a team with 10+ years of industry experience, including 4+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in establishing testing strategy and defining quality metrics for products deployed in SaaS or customer managed environments.
• Thorough understanding of the SDLC and changes required for agentic development.
• Strong understanding of test architecture, automation, CI/CD, observability, release management, and root‑cause analysis.
• Experience with AI‑developed tests and workflows.
• BS CS/EE or equivalent practical experience with 10+ years in industry, including 4+ years in a technical leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate metrics for data‑driven prioritization of the team's roadmap.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, root‑cause analysis, and escape‑rate reduction.
• Continuously optimize end‑to‑end pipelines for quality and velocity, removing bottlenecks for people and agentic workflows.
• Foster a customer‑first mindset by running failure analysis to close the testing gap with deployments.
• Establish a strong partnership with product management and engineering managers to ensure quality standards are implemented from the start.
• Coach, mentor, and grow a remote‑first team of exceptional test engineers focusing on agentic workflows.
