Job summary

Cribl, a remote-first software company, seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead SDETs and own quality across Cribl products. You will drive testing strategy from design to release, implement robust test automation, and improve CI stability while aligning with product management.

You will mentor a remote team, champion data-driven quality metrics, and oversee agentic workflow testing for SaaS environments and customer deployments. This role emphasizes collaboration and engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience establishing testing strategy and metrics.
• Understanding of SDLC and agentic development.
• Strong knowledge of test architecture and automation.
• Experience with AI-developed tests and workflows.
• 10+ years in industry with 4+ years in technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate metrics for data-driven prioritization of the team's roadmap.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, root-cause analysis, and escape-rate reduction.
• Continuously optimize end-to-end pipelines for quality and velocity, removing bottlenecks for people and agentic workflows.
• Foster a customer-first mindset by analyzing failures to close testing gaps with deployments.
• Establish partnerships with product management and engineering to ensure quality is built-in from the start.
• Coach and grow a remote-first team of exceptional test engineers.
