Cribl, a remote-first B2B SAAS data observability software company, seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional SDETs team ensuring quality across Cribl products. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes test strategy, automation, and data-driven quality from design through release.

You'll mentor a remote team, partner with product and engineering managers, and drive CI/CD, observability, and root-cause analysis in a fast-paced AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience establishing testing strategy and defining quality metrics for SaaS and customer-managed environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and changes for agentic development.
• Expertise in test architecture, automation, CI/CD, observability, release management, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with AI-developed tests and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate metrics for data-driven prioritization of the team's roadmap.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, root‑cause analysis, and escape‑rate reduction.
• Continuously optimize end-to-end pipelines for quality and velocity, removing bottlenecks for people and agentic workflows.
• Foster a "customer first" mindset by continuously running failure analysis to close the testing gap with customer deployments.
• Establish a strong partnership with product management and engineering managers to ensure quality standards are implemented from the start.
• Coach, mentor, and grow a remote‑first team of exceptional test engineers focusing on agentic workflows.
