Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a remote-first, cross-functional team of SDETs, ensuring quality is built in from design through release. You will drive testing strategy, metrics, and improvements across Cribl’s telemetry software used by large enterprises in a fast-growing, AI-focused market.

You will own end-to-end test quality, collaborate with PMs and engineers, and mentor a high-performing remote team to deliver reliable products at scale.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience establishing testing strategy and defining quality metrics for SaaS products.
• Experience with testing for both SaaS and customer-managed environments.
• Strong SDLC knowledge and agentic development practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and drive data-driven roadmap decisions.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation and CI stability.
• Optimize end-to-end pipelines to improve quality and velocity.
• Foster a customer-first mindset by aligning testing with deployments.
• Partner with product management and engineering to enforce quality from design.
• Coach and grow a remote-first team of top test engineers.
