Fivetran is seeking a seasoned digital community manager to lead the dbt Slack community, cultivating a welcoming, high-signal environment for data practitioners globally. You will partner with product, marketing, and support teams to shape engagement programs and surface insights to drive improvements.

The role emphasizes scalable moderation, Code of Conduct enforcement, and coaching moderators, ensuring strong member experience and growth across regions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in digital community management in a global or distributed environment.
• Proven experience owning day-to-day operations for a large online community (Slack/Discord/forum).
• Strong understanding of online community dynamics and how to cultivate trust and belonging at scale.
• Experience building and improving moderation and support workflows, including CoC enforcement.
• Excellent written communication and facilitation skills, capable of de-escalation and productive conversations.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations of the dbt Slack community to ensure a welcoming, high-signal experience for members worldwide.
• Partner with community leaders and internal stakeholders to evolve channel strategy and engagement programs.
• Develop and maintain scalable moderation and support workflows, with escalation paths and playbooks.
