Fivetran is seeking a dbt community specialist to lead digital engagement, manage the dbt Slack community, and foster a welcoming space for data practitioners worldwide.

You will partner with product, marketing, and support, develop moderation workflows, mentor moderators, and surface insights to shape the community roadmap.

This remote role supports a global audience, emphasizing inclusive processes and measurable impact through engagement and health metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in digital community management or related fields.
• Excellent written communication and ability to foster inclusive, constructive dialogue.
• Experience building moderation workflows and using analytics to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations of the Slack community and related channels.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Support to align community goals.
• Develop scalable moderation and support workflows with clear playbooks.
• Coach moderators and surface insights to product teams.
• Track engagement metrics and contribute to community health improvements.
