Fivetran seeks a seasoned dbt community professional to lead our global Slack community, driving engagement and ensuring a welcoming, high-signal space for data practitioners worldwide. You will partner with Product, Marketing and Support to evolve guidelines, build scalable moderation workflows, recruit moderators, and surface insights that inform product decisions and community strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in digital community management in global environments.
• Experience running large online communities (Slack/Discord) with moderation.
• Strong written communication and ability to foster trust and belonging.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations of the dbt Slack community worldwide.
• Evolve channel strategy, guidelines, and engagement programs.
• Develop scalable moderation and support workflows, including CoC enforcement.
• Coach moderators; recruit and onboard new moderators.
• Create content systems for announcements, highlights, prompts, and storytelling.
• Surface community insights to Product, Marketing, Support; close loop on outcomes.
• Monitor engagement metrics and run experiments to improve them.
• Manage community tool stack (Slack, analytics, knowledge base, integrations).
