Job summary

Citeline, now part of Norstella, is seeking a Senior Account Executive for Marketing Services to lead client relationships, drive new business, and manage campaigns from concept to delivery.

You will identify Life Sciences accounts, grow existing relationships, and build bespoke campaigns including content, research, and thought leadership. A consultative sales approach is essential, with collaboration across sales and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience and proven track record.
• Consultative sales approach required.
• Experience selling content marketing is a plus.
• Understand integrated B2B marketing campaigns.
• Familiar with Life Sciences industry and clinical trials.
• Experience creating new revenue streams through digital solutions and events.
• Knowledge selling to a subscription audience.
• Familiar with selling and managing B2B advertising accounts is a plus.
• Proven track record developing a book of business.

Responsibilities

• Identify new Life Sciences accounts to sell Marketing Services.
• Grow existing relationships within the Citeline Marketing Services Portfolio.
• Apply a consultative approach to identifying customers’ needs and marketing objectives by asking targeted open-ended questions to understand a customer’s challenges.
• Build bespoke marketing services campaigns including custom content, research and thought leadership programs.
• Work closely with the existing sales teams to complement and grow the business with new revenue streams.
• Responsible for managing campaigns in collaboration with delivery colleagues from start to finish and documenting results for post campaign debriefs and renewals.
• Assist the production team to ensure advertising campaigns go live on the site without a hitch, are successfully optimized, and perform to client standards.
• Delivery of performance reports to clients and benchmarking those results against similar campaigns.
• Maintaining a knowledge of the industry in which you work and an awareness of factors that may affect your business.
