Job summary

SelectQuote, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales Development Advisor to join our Qualifications Team. This is an unlicensed, outbound sales role focused on generating interest, qualifying prospects, and transferring them to licensed agents.

You will work from home with high-volume calling, scripts, and a clear path to paid training and advancement. Base salary plus bonus, with average first-year earnings around $50,000 and top producers $80,000+.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of telesales or inside sales experience.
• Experience in high-volume, metrics-driven sales environments.
• Proven success meeting quotas, KPIs, or other sales objectives.
• Strong objection-handling and closing skills.
• Confident, energetic phone presence.
• Ability to follow scripts and established processes.
• Willingness to accept coaching and improve.
• Reliable work habits and attendance.
• Prepared to explain significant employment gaps.
• Current licenses not eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls (up to 800 per day).
• Generate interest and engage prospects.
• Establish rapport and communicate confidently on the phone.
• Identify needs and qualify prospects for transfer.
• Handle objections and move prospects toward the next step.
• Follow scripts and sales processes.
• Meet or exceed transfer and performance goals.
• Be coachable and apply feedback to performance.
• Work with multiple monitors and phone systems.
