Job summary

SelectQuote is seeking experienced, driven sales professionals for the Sales Development Advisor role. This unlicensed, outbound position involves contacting prospects, generating interest, understanding needs, overcoming objections, and transferring qualified leads to licensed agents.

This is a high-volume, metrics-driven role with paid training, a base salary plus bonus, and a potential career path into licensed sales. Training and license support are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of telesales, inside sales, phone sales, or comparable experience.
• Experience in high-volume, metrics-driven or commission-based environments preferred.
• Proven success toward quotas, KPIs, or conversion goals.
• Strong objection-handling and closing skills.
• Willingness to be coached and apply feedback.

Responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective customers, up to 800 per day.
• Generate interest and engage prospective customers.
• Establish rapport and communicate confidently over the phone.
• Qualify prospects for transfer to a licensed agent.
• Handle objections and move conversations toward next steps.
• Follow scripts and sales processes to meet transfer and performance goals.
