Job summary

DIRECTV is seeking a Customer Service Representative focused on retention to support our customers from a home-based setup. You’ll cultivate and retain ongoing customers using an empathetic, consultative approach to resolve issues and improve processes.

You’ll use product knowledge and multiple systems to offer advanced solutions while maintaining a high standard of service. Work hours are Mon–Fri with weekend coverage as needed; a private, quiet home workspace is required.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience.
• Familiarity with Windows computers.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance and reliability.
• Private or secluded home work location.
• Internet speed of at least 18 Mbps down / 12 Mbps up dedicated to DIRECTV work.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and address requests or inquiries about services and products.
• Utilize various systems and tools to assist customers.
• Use sales expertise to make recommendations based on customer needs.
• Process purchases of products and services using operational systems.
• Identify and resolve customer technical issues with strong problem-solving.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Support customers during working hours (M-F 5:55AM–8:00PM MST; Sat/Sun 6:55AM–8:00PM MST).
