Job summary

Waters is seeking an Automation Servicer Engineer to service BD Advanced Diagnostics instruments in the field. This role requires strong electronics/mechatronics knowledge, the ability to travel up to 50% and provide a best‑in‑class customer experience with remote work as needed.

The ASE will respond to customer needs, perform installations, maintenance and repairs, and document all actions for compliance. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is preferred, with experience in PLCs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline or 10+ years’ troubleshooting experience.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, PLCs and pneumatics.
• Able to communicate with IT and lab leadership to schedule software upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, upgrade and repair BD Advanced Diagnostics instruments in the field.
• Travel up to 50% and participate in on‑call rotation.
• Document issues in the system of record and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with service and support teams to drive revenue and upgrades.
