Job summary

Waters is seeking an Automation Servicer Engineer for the Burlington, NC area to service BD Advanced Diagnostics instruments, traveling as needed to ensure installations, maintenance, and repairs meet specifications.

You will work remotely when needed but typically on-site, with 50% travel and on-call rotations every ~6 weeks. A strong electrical/mechanical background and PLCs knowledge are required, with credentialing and safety requirements to be completed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of electronics, electro-mechanical devices and pneumatics.
• Experience with information systems networking and software upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and repair instruments to meet specifications.
• Drive service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Communicate work performed and follow up plans to customers.
