Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking an Accountant, Payroll to manage timely payroll processing and related tax filing across multiple states from a fully remote role. You will coordinate with HR and finance to ensure accurate hours, deferrals, and garnishments while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities include using Ceridian Dayforce for bi-weekly payroll, reconciling payroll data, and supporting accounts payable during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field
• 2–3 years of payroll processing experience
• Experience running payroll in a multi-state environment
• Strong payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and reporting
• Familiarity with garnishments, levies, liens, support orders, and subpoenas
• Excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees in Ceridian/Dayforce.
• Work with managers to ensure employee hours are submitted accurately and approved on time.
• Update 401k deferrals, employer match, and 401k loans in payroll system; verify 401k data.
• Set up garnishments and tax levies; complete required paperwork.
• Assist Accounts Payable with vendor invoices and reconciliations as needed.
• Prepare year-end reporting (W-2, 401k census) and payroll analytics.
