Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is a remote employer in the United States seeking an Accountant, Payroll to manage bi-weekly payroll processing across multiple states using Ceridian Dayforce, maintain records, and handle tax filings.

The role partners with HR and finance, supports accounts payable, ensures compliance with federal and state payroll laws, and upholds confidentiality while delivering accurate, timely payroll.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field.
• 2-3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience running payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Strong background in payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Familiarity with garnishments, levies, liens, and subpoenas.
• Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel and analytical reporting.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll using Ceridian/Dayforce for exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Ensure hours, deferrals, and deductions are accurate each pay period.
• Set up garnishments and tax levies; complete required paperwork.
• Assist Accounts Payable with invoice processing and vendor maintenance as needed.
• Support quarterly and year-end audits related to payroll and accounting.
