Affinity Dental Management is a dentist-led Dental Support Organization built to remove administrative burden so clinical teams can deliver exceptional care. We’re hiring a Senior Accountant to support corporate accounting across a multi‑site healthcare environment.

This is a steady, high‑autonomy role for an accountant who likes to own their work, keep the books clean, improve processes, and partner closely with a strong finance team – without managing direct reports.

• $90-95K base + bonus incentive
• Remote flexibility + flexible hours (structured around month‑end close)
• M‑F schedule | No weekends / no late nights (rare quarter/year‑end exceptions)

• Autonomy + ownership: You’ll run your workstream end‑to‑end with minimal oversight
• Strong team: Reporting into the Controller with exposure up to the CFO; collaborate with a dedicated finance group
• Process improvement: You’ll lead cleanups, build schedules, tighten reconciliations, and improve close quality
• Stability: Consistent responsibilities, clear expectations, reliable workflow

• Prepare and post journal entries, maintain account reconciliations, and resolve variances
• Maintain prepaid and accrued expense schedules; support accruals including payroll/payroll taxes
• Support close documentation and ensure accounting accuracy and compliance

• Record and reconcile revenue activity in QuickBooks (production, adjustments, deposits)
• Prepare schedules tying practice cash deposits to QuickBooks
• Maintain AR aging, bad debt schedules, and revenue schedules by facility

• Support physician/doctor compensation accruals and related templates/import files
• Assist with staff incentive/bonus calculations tied to production/collections metrics (where applicable)

• Reconcile fixed assets; identify capital items within repairs & maintenance
• Maintain Excel schedules for financed assets and depreciation
• Prepare audit schedules and support external audit requests

• Maintain strong internal controls and documentation standards
• Protect confidential financial information and ensure data integrity

• 3-5+ years accounting experience (we will consider strong candidates across levels)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (required)
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, clean schedules)
• QuickBooks experience strongly preferred
• Healthcare / multi‑location industry experience is a plus
• Analytical, detail‑driven, and comfortable working independently
