Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking an Accountant, Payroll to manage timely payroll processing and related tax reporting. The role includes supporting Accounts Payable during peak periods and maintaining confidential employee and financial information.

You will process bi-weekly payroll via Ceridian/Dayforce, coordinate with managers, and handle 401k deferrals and year-end reporting while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience running payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Strong background in payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees on a bi-weekly basis using Ceridian/Dayforce.
• Ensure accurate hours and approvals with managers; resolve discrepancies.
• Update 401k deferrals, employer match, and 401k loans in payroll system; process year-end W2/401K reporting.
